Addie Meldrum, a senior at Lone Peak High in Utah who has placed in the top five in the past two Class 6A state championships to help the Knights secure three team titles in the past four seasons, joins DyeStat editor Erik Boal to discuss competing Nov. 18 at NXR Southwest at the Coyote Run Golf Course at Leisure World in Mesa, Ariz. Meldrum helped Lone Peak XC take third at last year's regional by finishing 24th on the 5-kilometer layout, followed by a 65th-place effort at Nike Cross Nationals at Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland, Ore., contributing to a fourth-place finish for Lone Peak XC, which also secured a fourth-place performance in its NXN debut in 2019. The top three teams in the country will all be showcased in the girls championship race at NXR Southwest, with Lone Peak XC matching up against Colorado lineups Kadet AC (Air Academy) and REAL Training (Niwot).
